I qualified as an acupuncturist in 2000, after 4 years of study and supervised clinical practice at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. At the same time I became a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) which is the gold standard for an acupuncture practitioner. Over 11 years I worked at Napiers both in Stockbridge and Bristo Place and in 2012 moved to my own clinic, the Albany Street Clinic in the New Town where I see both general and fertility patients.
I set up the Natural Fertility Centre in 2004 to offer a more comprehensive service and support network to couples, men and women. Jill Blakeway, owner of the YinOva centre in New York and author of bestseller 'The Fertility Plan' says
I also enjoy working with people with sports related injuries or arthritis as the benefits of acupuncture can sometimes be immediate and profound.
I have built on my general experience with courses of further study such as Advanced Needling Techniques.
Practising acupuncture is not only is it a rewarding and fulfilling job but I thrive on meeting so many new people and being able to help them overcome some of the difficulties they face.
