I qualified as an acupuncturist in 2000, after 4 years of study and supervised clinical practice at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. At the same time I became a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) practitioner which means you should be able to claim for treatment cover from me if you have health insurance. In 2017 I completed an extra training in Facial Acupuncture which is a really enjoyable aspect of my work.

I founded and was Director of both the Albany Street Clinic - a complimentary health clinic based in Edinburgh's New Town - and the Natural Fertility Centre. I also founded the supplements company, NFCEssentials, to provide my patients with the highest quality nutritional support.

Before studying acupuncture, I completed a degree in Comparative Religion at Edinburgh University and have a Diploma in Marketing & Business Studies. I have lived in London, LA, Dusseldorf and Melbourne but spent most of my life in Edinburgh and now live in Peebles.
